The starting point
When we walked the site, AD Ports was running 14 separate systems for what should have been one workflow. The TOS didn't know what the yard hostlers were doing. The cold-chain loggers reported to a vendor portal. Supplier scheduling lived in email. Each gate had its own paper checklist.
What we changed
Innfini deployed as the enterprise digital-operations platform — reading from every existing system through pre-built connectors, writing back through the same fabric. The TOS still ran. The cold-chain hardware stayed. What changed is that they finally talked to each other.

The lessons
Two things mattered. First: we didn't ask AD Ports to rip and replace anything. The existing systems work — they just weren't connected. Innfini's connector layer was the entire reason this deployment shipped in months instead of years.
Second: visibility isn't the same as automation. The first six months were about making operations visible. The next twelve are about making them automatic. Agentic dispatch, predictive cold-chain interventions, and automated supplier coordination are next.
